Generations Gadaffi Jobless After Netflix Axed Queen Sono 2
Celebrated Generations star actor Vuyo Dabula who plays the character of Gadaffi of SABC 1 hit soapie is now jobless after Netflix axed Queen Sono 2.
Dabula made headlines a few ago after he announced that he was leaving Generations for Netflix’s Queen Sono 2. However, it seems as if Dabula will forever regret his decision after Queen Sono was chucked out after facing production challenges.
The multi-award-winning star finds himself unemployed barely a few weeks after calling it quits at Generations.

Queen Sono Director and Creator, Kagiso Lediga highlighted that the pandemic had a toe on their production schedules and revenues.

Queen Sono made headlines when it became the first African Original Tv series to be premiered on Netflix. The tv series boasts of seasoned actors and Mzansi’s finest such as Pearl Thusi. On Queen Sono Dabuda played the character of Shandu.
Vuyo Dabula took Mzansi by surprise when he announced his shocking exit from Generations. Rumour has it that the veteran star actor switched the floor to Queen Sono after he was given an ultimatum to chose between the two. Now that Queen Sono is cancelled from Netflix will Gadaffi make that much-awaited return to Generations?
A Netflix representative had this to say.
“We’ve made the difficult decision not to move forward with season 2 of Queen Sono.”
He further stated:
