Siyabonga Radebe is reported to have been admitted to a mental health clinic. Former Uzalo actor played the role of Vikizitha Vika Magwaza, a car high-jacking expert who is alleged to be suffering from mental illness.
Confirmed reports that Siyabonga’s mental health is in a bad state. The publication reports that he was once seen wandering around naked at the mental facility. According to a source inside the hospital, Siyabonga appears to be mentally disturbed.
“He appears to be a very mentally disturbed person,” said a source inside the hospital.
Another source reveals that community members in his hometown used to see him talking to himself while walking alone.
“He was seen walking down the street wearing a gown and holding a cup of tea. He was not walking a short distance with that cup and gown. We suspect that something has disturbed his mind as he is a person who often seems to have a lot on his mind,” the source revealed.
This is not the first time he has been alleged to be mentally disturbed. Before his big break on Uzalo, rumours were circulating alleging he was losing his mind.
Siyabonga Radebe, however, denied the claims that he’s going crazy and stated that he’s a writer and sometimes writes songs that he sings on the streets.
Meanwhile, this comes to a couple of months after he dumped Uzalo after being with the show for six months.
Siyabonga Radebe dumps the Uzalo cast, and according to close sources, he has a gig lined up
“He leaves Uzalo with his head high after delivering an exceptional role of Vikizitha, which challenged the status quo and made people fall in love with the stupid characters. Siya remains grateful to the whole production team for the offered opportunity to share his talent with South Africans.”
He is tipped to join The Wife cast as Mqhele Zulu after Bonko Khoza announced that he is leaving the Showmax drama series.
After playing the Mqhele Zulu role in The Wife for two seasons, fans’ favourite and Mzansi national husband Bonko Khoza announced his departure. The Wife producers Stained Glass TV announced that they are recasting for the vacant Mqhele role, and due to his dangerous looks and aura, Siyabonga Rabede has been tipped to fill the position.
Over the years, Mzansi has witnessed actors moving from cast to cast when the same production house produces shows. The movement of actors from Durban Gen to Uzalo has been on the rise, and The Wife will not be an exemption since they are all produced by Stained Glass TV.
