Former Rhythm City actress Samkelo Ndlovu falls on difficult times, disappears without paying Bolt Driver’s fare
The dismissal of Rhythm City on-air left many actors and actresses jobless. Recently Mapula Mafole opened up about how she fell into depression after losing her job at Rhythm City. As Mzansi is still digesting the tragic story of Mapula, another former Rhythm City actress is trending for conning a taxi driver.
Samkelo Ndlovu found herself on top trends after a Bolt taxi driver told Daily Sun that the actress frauded him. Reporting to Daily Sun, the taxi man named Nkosi said he gave Samkelo a ride from Sandon to Joburg on 10 June. When arriving at her destination, Samkelo faked her payment and disappeared immediately after the payment. In his own words, Lesedi said:
I transported Samkhelo, her child and another person from a complex in Sandton to Papachinos, next to Montecasino in Joburg. When we arrived, she was about to get out without paying when I told her it was a cash trip. She apologised, saying she thought it was a card payment trip. She then offered to pay the fare through her bank’s app and sent him the voucher.

Nkosi discovered that the voucher was invalid and confronted the actress and singer. When the actress noticed that the taxi driver was serious about getting his R106, she blocked him.
Well, this is not the first time the former Rhythm City actress is making headlines for conning people. She had a bad reputation for frauding people, and she once faced the law after being reported.
In 2021 she made head after cheating on her co-worker on a payment. She and DJ Lesedi were booked to perform at an invent in Pretoria. They performed well, and the fee was given to Samkelo so she could share it with her fellow DJ. Samkelo was nowhere to be found upon receiving the payment, and she spent the money without giving DJ Lesedi her share.
