Former Generations actress Sophie Ndaba has bounced back with a bang to her old self and back to SABC1 where she started over 21 years ago. The star actress is working behind the camera as an associate producer and also acts for the hit 13- part drama series Family Secrets. The drama series is aired on SABC 1 every Sunday at 19:30hrs.

The past two years have been a roller coaster ride for actress Sophie Ndaba, who has had to deal with rumors that she was dead. A fight against diabetes and losing her business, which led to her falling into depression.

Sophie Lichaba, née Mphasane, formerly Sophie Ndaba is back with a bang on our Tv Screens as an actor and producer. She played Queen Moroka in the hit soapie Generations. Being in the public seems pretty much like a wonderful thing until things start to get too personal.

A lot of celebrities have had their dirty laundry hung in public. This is all because everyone is just dying to know what happens when the cameras are off. Sophie Ndaba has had her fair chance of all the bad things said about her in every aspect of her life. They have been brutal when it comes to her.

Sophie Ndaba has had a few health issues in the past, so much that she lost a tremendous amount of weight during that time. This has been one thing that’s been on everyone’s lips ever since. Since her weight loss, a lot of things have been said to her and about her. It is through these health issues the star actress Sophie Ndaba decided to take a break from the screens.

The fact is that there are many ailments and many of them can lead to excessive weight loss. But 48-year-old has rebuilt herself and bounced back with a bang, and is once more gracing our TV screens. This time as the alluring Shanice Moore on the New SABC 1 13-part drama series family Secrets which airs on Sundays at 19.30 hrs.

“The SABC has been my home for more than 21 years. I am glad to be back at the place that shaped my acting career. It has been my dream to work behind the scenes, and this happened at the right time,” says an excited Ndaba
