Rapper Emtee has released his shoe line with the label Emtee The Hustler. The Johustleburg hit  maker is adding another stream of income and follows the footsteps of other rappers like Aka who have done it before.

Emtee’s fans have showered him with love after the release and promised to buy as soon as the sneakers are available

Emtee, one of South Africans favourite rappers because of his rich lyrics, enjoys massive social media support whenever he releases a song. Most Hip Hop fans sympathise with him because of the way he was treated at Ambitiouz Records.

Mzansi hope Emtee did not enter into an agreement such as the one Aka did with Reebok, where he was not paid a cent for sneaker sales but was compensated through clothing. He let the cat out of the bag when one fan revealed he chose to buys Reebok over Nike and Adidas to support Aka.

Aka responded to the Tweet by castigating Reebok for not paying him for sneaker sales, despite him having signed a contract specifying that he will not be paid based on sales.
