The actress Nelisiwe Sibiya, recognized for her role as Dr Mbali Mthethwa on Durban Gen, recently shared that she faced difficulties in managing her responsibilities and expressed a desire to have a financial supporter without the need for a sexual relationship.

“I don’t have a problem with having a blesser as long as he doesn’t have sex with me. Jokes aside, I wish I can have a blesser so that my responsibilities can be taken care of so that I can be spoilt, and get gifts. The only problem is sex, eventually, he’ll want sex.”

However, in the wake of her newfound fame, Mzansi has been trying to connect the dots about her love life. In recent months she has been implicated in several alleged relationships that have seen her topping trends for the wrong reasons.

Nelisiwe recently revealed that she was engaged to gospel star Ayanda Ntanzi. The couple started dating during their varsity days, and in 2019 Ayanda hired her. However, things turned sour for the couple, who called it quits before they wedded. Nelisiwe disclosed that different religious beliefs were the main reason for their fallout.

In 2022 rumours were making rounds on social media that Nelisiwe was in a romantic relationship with Robert Marawa. Entertainment blogger Musa Khawula share a photo collage of the two media personalities along with the caption, “Robert Marawa (49) allegedly in a relationship with Nelisiwe Sibiya (26).” However, Neliswe later poured cold water on the rumours that she was dating Marawa. She laughed at the matter and disclosed that they were just good friends.

The actress we all love to hate once made headlines in January 2022 as she was reportedly dating her co-worker Dr Lindelani. The duo sparked dating rumours after they went on a gateway in Capetown and shared cosy pictures. Nelisiwe and Mike were captured enjoying their vacation while rocking bikinis at a poolside, leaving Mzansi convinced they were a couple. However, the couple ignored gave a deaf ear to the rumours, and it’s still unclear whether Nelisiwe and Mike are dating.
