He has been winning big of late. DiepCity actor Mgedeza ‘Mduduzi Mabaso’ joins The Estate. Award-winning actor Mduduzi Mabaso will be making his next stop on the SABC drama series The Estate. However, this comes after it was confirmed that DiepCity was coming to an end. In DiepCity, he stars as that bubbly gangster we all love to hate. Mduduzi Mabaso is best remembered for his on-screen character as Suffocate Ndlovu on etvs drama series Rhythm City.
He plays the on-screen character of Mgedeza. In the star-studded drama series, he stars alongside some of the industry’s big names, like Dawn Thandeka King, best known for her on-screen character on Mzansi’s most-watched drama series Uzalo.
On The Estate, he will be nailing the on-screen character of Khulekani Nzimande. We can’t wait for the drama to unfold, capped with drama and thrills. Nzimande is a fearless and traditionally inclined man whose priority is his family. This extends to his sister Noxolo, played by Lerato Mvelase. Mabaso has already weighed into his on-screen character persona.

Reports have it that he has already joined the star-studded cast of The Estate on set. He has been shooting his scenes, and Mzansi can’t wait. Confirmed reports have it that his debut is slated for 9 December. Of interest is that he will be nailing a more similar role to his signature character on-screen.
As in many of his previous roles on the telly, Mabaso will cause chaos wherever he goes.SABC video entertainment marketing manager Dichaba Phalatse said:
“The channel is delighted to have Mduduzi join the cast of The Estate, acting alongside Dumisani Mbebe and Aubrey Poo. We promise the viewers a heated storyline within the world of echelon, when these three great performers come together to deliver a stellar performance.”
He has starred in some big-budget productions, including Hotel Rwanda; Blood Diamond; Cry, the Beloved Country; Madiba Magic; Shaka Zulu; and Divide and Rule. The actor has cashed in hefty amounts from these gigs he has featured in.
