In episode eight of RHOD, the star shared that she is an ordained pastor in real life. Nonku told the ladies that she did not choose to be a pastor, but fate decided otherwise. According to Nonku, she was in a church service, and the voice of God spoke to her local pastor, saying she should be a pastor. After receiving the news, Nonku wanted to run away from her calling, but her local pastor warned her not to because bad fortunes would follow her for the rest of her life.

After Nonku confessed, the girls questioned her character and being a pastor. The star defended herself, saying being a pastor does not limit someone from living the kind of lifestyle they want.
“I love myself. I love to look sexy and live my life freely. God chose me, and he never judged my lifestyle. God accepts me the way I am, which is enough for me,” said Nonku.
