Big Zulu has found himself in the middle of some social media drama after Intaba Yase Dubai said he did not receive any royalties from Mali Eningi. The singer took his woes to social media and told the world that he had not received a single rand from the 2020 hit record. However, Big Zulu has taken to Instagram to share his official statements on the matter.
Intaba Yase Dubai went on Facebook to vent that he has not received any payment for his feature on Mali eningi. In his posts, he says that it’s painful to have people think he is doing big while he is struggling. He states that he hates features because they have to act like they are all fine when only one individual is. He shares another post where he says that the song has reached over 12 million streams, but he has not received a single rand.
Many Intaba Yase Dubai’s fans started tagging his record label Ambitiouz Entertainment demanding answers. The record label has had many artists leave because of non-payment. Fifi Cooper, A-Reece, La Flame and many others had contractual agreements with Ambitiouz Entertainment and left. When Tweeps read Intaba Yase Dubai’s posts, they concluded that the Record label was again shortchanging artists.
Big Zulu responds to the Mali eningi Royalties Saga
The rapper took to Instagram to share a media statement that all splits were handled with Ambitious Entertainment. At the early stage of the song’s release. It says that Inkabi Records and Ambotiouz Entertainment made a later contract, and Intaba Yase Dubai’s shares were paid directly to Ambitiouz Entertainment.
