Ambitiouz Records exploited South African artists according to South Africans airing their views on the issue. They are of the opinion that the reocrd label used A-Reece, Emtee, Fifi Cooper and Amanda Black

South Africans have started another Twitter hashtag #ambitiouzmustfall as they protest over the treatment of certain artists who have since left the stable.

History of Ambitiouz Entertainment

Ambitiouz Entertainment was founded in 2015 by Kgosi Mahumapelo. It signed up a number of prominent artists such as Emtee, Fifi Cooper among others. The record has been hugely successful with many of their artists scooping awards.

Ambitiouz Records say they are still home to Miss Pru DJ, Sjava, Saudi, La Sauce, KLY, Kid Tini, Blaq Diamond, Kraizie, Lisa, Cici, Londie London, S’Villa, Lloyiso, Sibu Nzuza and Snymaan.

Fifi Cooper explains why she left Ambitiouz entertainment

Fifi cooper says she was tired of being told that she owes Mahumapelo money. ““It’s been two years and I’m mostly tired of pretending that all is well. I am tired of being told that I owe him money. Money for what?” FifiCooper told Drum magazine

Why Emtee left Ambitiouz Records

Emtee says he was getting the same little money regardless of the number of shows he performed in a month. “In the last month I wasn’t getting a cent, even if you perform 100 shows a month you still get the same amount of money at the end of every month,” Emtee said. He left and started his own record label, Emtee Records.
