Danie Herselman who lives in George, Western Cape made racist attacks on Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma comparing her to an ape. Replying to Andre Scott’s facebook post, Herselman replied “daars jou antwoord” which has an English translation ” There is your answer”.

Continued attacks on Cooperative Governance Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma comes from her firm stance on the ban of cigarettes and tobacco related products during lockdown level 3.
The minister cited health risks associated with smoking hence the continued ban. While others claim that continued ban on cigarettes sales fuels the illegal cigarette industry, the government remains adamant to the calls.
The EFF leader Julius Malema defended Dlamini-Zuma over “nonsensical” allegations linking her to controversial businessman Adriano Mazzotti. In his speech, Malema supported Dlamini-Zuma and says her attitude towards cigarettes is “correct” hence we should have a smoking free South Africa.
