Confirmed Cast: See who’s joining on House of Zwide
The long wait is over and the much-talked drama series is upon us. House of Zwide will be replacing etv’s hit soapie Rhythm City which has aired for seasons. No doubt the fashion drama series is a game-changer. The showrunners of the drama series have since released the drama series teasers and Mzansi can’t get enough of it.
However, the teaser has since given us a sneak peek into the drama series. The show however has a number of seasoned star actors on its cast. To those who are yet to have access to the teaser, we can be spoilers for you for now. We have the cast, who’s who and who’s NOT.
As you know, Baby Cele and Lindani Nkosi have been attached to the project because they were cuddling in an Insta post, with the hashtag #newseriesloadingetvWe’ve asked e.tv about it and they tell us that the pair aren’t in House of Zwide. But they’re in something else now that the channel’s on a local series blitz again.

It’s been a while since e.tv’s gone all out with local series and suddenly it’s all happening, with two other shows currently in production: Isiphindiselo and a boxing series starring Warren Masemola, Jamie Bartlett and Kenneth Nkosi. However, these are the seasoned actors that are set to star in the drama series.
Funani Zwide Played by Vusi Kunene
Funani is South Africa’s biggest fashionista, founder and owner of House of Zwide. We can all agree that Vusi Kunene swapped Jack’s glove for a sketchbook.
Faith Zwide Played by Winnie Ntshaba
She is supportive and well dressed – hopefully! – wife.
Uncle Molefe Played by Motlatsi Mafatshe
The comic relief of the show. Cray uncs.
The Godfather Isaac Played by Jeffrey Sekele

Matshepo Maleme will also star on the show as Rea. In the mix of things, Uzalo axed firebrand will be one of the lead actors of the drama series.
Lazarus Played by Khaya Dladla

Ona Molapo Played by Nefisa Mkhabela. A young fashion designer who navigates the world of fashion with her BFF. Also making it to the A-starred drama series is Shalate Sekhabi who stars as Shoki
