Cassper Nyovest fears for his life beef up security after DJ Sumbody’s killer was revealed. He has beefed up his security personnel as he fears for his life. He has been topping trends of late after he made it known that he had beefed up his security after DJ Sumbody’s death. Nyovest said he no longer feels safe as people are hungry out there.
“It’s not safe, man. I have been ignorant for a very long time, and DJ Sumbody’s death woke me and made me realise that we are not safe. His death really f**ked me up,” he told the blog. “I am always walking around with expensive jewellery. I can’t afford to put my life at risk and tempt people.”

Cassper said he is a big deal, so he could not live like an ordinary citizen. In the mix of things, he has it that even when he is gigging internationally, there is tight security, so feels that should be the case here as well because “People are hungry.”
“I also need to remember who I am; I am Cassper Nyovest. I am not just some normal guy who can just walk around freely. I would love to live like that, walk around the streets and not be recognised, but I am not that guy. Someone made me realise that this is not the way to go, and Sumbody’s death made me aware that I need to be safe and remember who I am,” the rapper explained.
However, Sefoka, who broke into the industry with his hit track, Monate mpolaye featuring musician Cassper Nyovest, was on his way from a performance in Woodmead when he was shot dead. He was due to perform at the All White Veuve Clicquot Picnic. The celebrated DJ died on the spot with one of his bodyguards. However, a few weeks later, one of his guards, the third person in the car, died in the hospital.
