It never rains but pours for Minnie Dlamini, whose career is crushing of late after daring cheating allegations dropped by Musa Khawula saw her trending for the wrong reasons. A few months ago, she revealed that she was calling it quits with her estranged husband Quinton Jones after tying the knot in a lavish wedding in 2017. We agree that their divorce came as a shocker as the two looked picture-perfect.
Confirmed reports have it that Minnie Dlamini was cheating on Jones with billionaire Edwin Sodi, who happens to be a celebrated business mogul who has ties with the ruling government.
The two have been rumoured to be dating before, and it seems as if they kept their spark alight whilst Dlamini-Jones was married. Unconfirmed reports have it that Sodi used his private jet for good use, entertaining Minnie Dlamini and her friends whenever they wanted to use a jet for their travels.

In March, he was nabbed by the Sandton Police after he heavily assaulted his estranged wife, Nthateng Lerata. The daring incident happened at one of their million-rand estate in Bryanston. Police report that Sodi even pointed a gun at his estranged wife. And close sources have it that these domestic woes came in the backdrop of Sodi and Dlamini’s cheating allegations.
Many might be wondering who Sodi is? Edwin Sodi is an ANC benefactor and corruption accused businessman who happens to be the CEO of Blackhead Consulting Company. A few months ago, he was halted before the courts after being awarded an R250m tender that roofed the Free State Homes.
The bubbly personality has an estimated net worth of more than R1 billion. A massive chunk of it comes from tenders. Back then, in 2021, he made headlines when his R5 million Rolls Royce was repossessed. Just like those before him, he owns several mansions across South Africa. He owns not one but two private jets and a fleet of exotic cars from Ferrari’s to Ford Mastung. Rumour mill has it that he has an R30 million estate in the leafy suburbs of Johanessburg.
