Busiswa drops new album, Mzansi not impressed
Her majesty The Queen, Busiswa, is one of Mzansi’s favourite house music vocalists. From Dj Zinhle‘s ‘my name is’, to Beyonce’s ‘Black is King’, she never seizes to amaze listeners. However, her latest album, ‘My side of the story‘ failed to even move her beloved fans. Busiswa released her album on the 22nd of November 2020 but a week after the release, there is deafening silence concerning the album.
Busiswa started the year on a good note when she was featured in Beyonce’s platinum selling album, ‘Black is King’. Mid year, she silenced body shamers when she revealed her new sexy look. As the year was about to end on a good note, Mzansi is not appreciating her latest offering. Her album is entitled, ‘My Side of The Story’ and its a11 track album comprised of amapiano, gqom and house music beats. The only outstanding track on the album, is ‘SBWL’ featuring Khamo Mphela. Busiswa’s album jets in after a series of album by renowned artists such as AKA’s ‘Bhovamania’, Cassper Nyovest’s ‘Any Minute Now’ as well as Kabza de Small’s ‘I am the King of Amapino’. Will the album do better as we heard towards the festive season?
