The actress has launched a new business. She started a company to bottle and brand water. The company is called Alkamax, and the retail price for its 500ml bottle of water is rumoured to be R10. The launch of the company was held on 23 November 2021. The actress posted a picture of herself in a studio which she captioned that the secret to her unageing skin is that she drinks a lot of water. She could be seen with a bottle of her new brand of bottled water on the table.
This actress and producer is not a stranger to the business world at all. She is already a force to be reckoned with in boardrooms as she owns a production company. Sonia owns a production company called Sonia Mbele Films that has produced shows we love. Pastors’ wives is a reality show by her production company. Real Housewives of Joburg was a show that Sonia’s production company worked on for two seasons.

However, South Africa fell in love with Sonia for her roles on the small screen. The actress debuted on our screens with a role on Generations as Ntombi Khumalo. Sonia left Generations on the orders of her then-husband, who she ended up divorcing.
