Nasty C’s listening session was more than just a music event; it was a celebration of family, friendship, and the new chapter of fatherhood he has embarked on. The event, held at Zwartkops Racetrack in Centurion, was a fun-filled family affair that offered an exclusive preview of his fifth studio album, “I Love It Here,” set to launch on September 15.

Star-Studded Event

The event was graced by media associates, industry colleagues, friends, and family. Among the celebrities present were singers Manana, Sishi, Blaq Diamond’s Siphelele Dunywa, social media sensation Primo, and Maglera Doe Boy and 25k, who feature on the album. Nasty C shared his joy at the positive impact his life changes have had on his friends, inspiring them with his journey into fatherhood.

Special Guests: Sammie Heavens and Baby Oliver

Adding to the family atmosphere was the presence of Nasty C’s girlfriend, popularly known as Sammie Heavens, and their two-month-old son Oliver. This was Oliver’s first outing to a function, and both mother and son had a great time at the event. Their voices can be heard on the album, adding a personal touch to the music.

Nasty C’s Album Launch

The night was also a celebration of Nasty C’s success. He was gifted a Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 and received a diamond and platinum plaque for achieving 828,444,681 streams across all platforms. These accolades serve as motivation for him to continue creating music that resonates with his fans.

Tribute to AKA

Nasty C’s recent performances have included tributes to the late rapper AKA. His album launch continued this tradition with performances of his latest single “RIP” and AKA’s “Lemons (Lemonade),” their last collaboration song together. Nasty C expressed his desire to honor AKA’s memory and the significant role he played in many South African lives.
