Actress Noxolo Maqashalala died a week ago and nobody knew
It seems as if a dark cloud is hanging over when it comes to the entertainment industry of late. South Africa and the world at large is mourning after learning about the untimely death of star actress Noxolo Maashalala.
However, police preliminary results have indicated that the later might have died a week ago. Eastern Cape-born actress Noxolo Maqashalala was reported dead sometime earlier this month. Her body was only discovered at her home on Friday after one of the local delivery guys noticed something off at her Honeydew home.
According to the police forensic reports the actress had been dead for a week before she was discovered dead. She was 44 years old. This latest development has left Mzansi puzzled over the issue. Many questions have been raised slamming those close to her for not checking up on her given the fact that she has been off the hook for a week.
However, her death was confirmed by family friend Senyukele Zibobo. Zibobo did confirm that the late actress body was discovered at her Honeydew home. It seems that Noxolo had been dead for about a week and unfortunately, nobody seemed to know anything.

The police have since ruled out foul play in the death of the actress. Police spokesperson captain Balan Muthan said that when the police arrived at the scene, the door was locked from the inside. According to the police official statement they had to gain entry through one of the windows.
After gaining entry, the police discovered Noxolo’s body. She appears to have died while she was in bed.
“The police had to enter through a very small window. From our preliminary investigation, there was no foul play,” he said. There were no signs of forced entry into the house and no injuries seen at the time of preliminary investigation,” he said.
However, despite running down foul play the police made it clear that her death is still under investigation. They are still investigating her death and still waiting for postmortem, toxicology and pathology reports to come out.
