Mac and cheese is a very easy and quick tasty dish. Whatever the occasion a bowl of mac and cheese will always spell comfort. It is one of the best and classic recipes.

  • Mixing bowl
  • Stove
  • Spoon
  • Sauce pan
  • Colander or Strainer
  • Large serving bowl
  • Cup
  • Large Pot

Ingredients
  

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 tbsp flour all purpose
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions
 

  • Boil water in a large pot. Cook elbow macaroni in the boiling water, stir until the macaroni is firm to bite, 9 minutes. Drain
  • Melt butter in a pan sauce over medium heat. Meanwhile add milk into butter and stir in flour , salt and pepper whisk slowly until the mixture is smooth and bubbly about 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Turn the heat low and add cheddar cheese to milk mixture and stir until cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy.
  • Remove sauce from the heat
  • Fold macaroni into cheese sauce until coated
  • Serve!
