Bread Pudding

Bread pudding recipe is easy to make. This recipe it produces a sweet perfect desert , with soft texture and crisp top.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 6 slices day-old bread
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Soak the bread in cold water until soft. Squeeze bread dry and place in a bowl.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine eggs, sugar, vanilla, milk, raisins and the soaked bread. Mix until combined.
  4. Place in a greased baking tray. Sprinkle with sugar.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top springs back when lightly tapped.

Notes

Bread pudding it can be served with a huge scoop of ice cream and some caramel sauce. But it's honestly delicious by itself..
