Mondli’s investigation of Putin turns so sour that he becomes a suspect.
It is revealed that Putin has the police in his pocket, and the arrival of Colonel Mabaso will destroy Mondli.
Mondli turns up the heat on Putin but soon realizes he is way out of his league.
Putin starts to think of Mondli as a problem, so he calls his very powerful contacts in the police force to deal with this problem.
In November, he is advised to stop his investigation on Putin Sithole, who gets his orders from above from Colonel Mabaso, to be precise.
Mondli doesn’t take heed of this advice, and that leads to Mthambisi pressuring Colonel Mabaso more. To cut a long story short, Mondli ends up being framed and demoted, and Nyawo gets promoted and takes over Mondlis’s job as the Captain. According to the teasers, Nyawo will make his new position feel hard at KwaMashu.
Sometime during his investigation of Mthambisi/Putin, Mondli catches Gabisile in a compromising position with him.
Speaking of Gabisile
She has decided to continue cheating on Nkunzi and risk it all. She is considering leaving Nkunzi for Putin in November.
Nkuzi almost catches them several times as she gets sloppy with her dirty secret, but she realizes she doesn’t know much about him. Flavia discovers how deeply in love Gabi is, and she tells Gabi to choose between Nkunzi and Mthambisi. Gabisile’s decision to continue with Putin means she has made her choice. Right?
In the meantime, Nkunzi becomes a celebrity.
While Gabisile is busy cheating on Nkunzi and shaking the sheets with his number one enemy, he is busy turning into a celebrity. A talent show that runs annually is taking KwaMashu by storm. Hlelo is the one behind the idea, and she gives a great pitch that Nkunzi likes.
The idea is so successful it launches Nkunzi and turns him into a celebrity.
