South African club host turned reality TV star, and serious business mogul Eva Modika has launched her first Pretty Much Beauty shop in South Africa. The socialite has been making serious business moves this year with the debut of a reality show she is a part of and now her shop. The business she launched earlier in London is now taking its first walk-in clients and not only operating online.
Most customers believe there is a level of trust given to suppliers when they show some permanence. Clients find it hard to trust online shops to deliver what they advertise but prefer to walk into the store and pick for themselves what they want. With this thought in mind, Eva Modika launched her first Pretty Much Beauty shop in Sandton, Johannesburg.

The businesswoman/ club host shared the new space she owns for her business on her social media pages. Balloons of all shades of brown were on the doorway as they celebrated the launch. Modika hired ballet dancers to entertain the first guests and clients to walk into the shop. Make-up artists also graced the event to collaborate with the socialite and her beauty line to work on the faces of her first clients.

The socialite launched Pretty Much Beauty in November 2021, and she sells many things related to make-up like foundations, lipsticks, concealers and many more. It operated online since then until the shop was launched on 21 September. In February, it collaborated with the African Collective, a fashion show which ran from the 12th and 13th of that month.
Pretty Much Beauty is the official sponsor of Miss Teenage South Africa and Fashion without borders. Eva Modika has also branched out the Pretty Much brand and added swimwear and a skincare range. All the products are sold on the pretty much beauty website and are a growing business for the socialite.
Eva Modika started out as a club host together with her friend Inno Morolong and made a killing from it before investing in her business. With her growing fame, she also landed a job as a news anchor at one point and a minor role as an actress.
