David is legally obligated to the applicant for the sum of R1 662 198 and the additional R333 000 concerning the mortgaged bond. David Kau allegedly defaulted on the house loan last year and now owes R275 000 in late fees. The loan was supposed to be repaid in R14,000 monthly instalments.
