Themba Ndaba, who plays Brutus on 1Magic Mzansi’s hit telenovela The Queen, grew up in Swaziland, and his father’s job has been revealed. His character is a murderer who can kill unapologetically and will never feel remorseful about his actions.
On The Queen, he is the untouchable Uncle Brutus, the biological brother of Harriet ‘played by Connie Ferguson’ and the duo runs a family business empire, the Khoza transport and drug business.
Despite continuously playing villain roles, Themba Ndaba is not a bad guy in real life. Themba Ndaba is a highly educated man raised in a Christian home.
Themba Ndaba grew up in Swaziland
Themba Ndaba was born in Soweto on the 14th of February, 1965. His parents relocated to Swaziland when he was still an infant, and he was raised in Mbabane. His father was an Anglican Reverend and was forced to move to Swaziland for missionary work. The church sent Themba Ndaba’s father to Swaziland to carry on evangelism work preaching and sharing the gospel.
The actor spent most of his childhood in Swaziland, where he attended high school. Themba attended St Mark’s High School in Mbabane and passed with good grades. After passing secondary school, his parents encouraged him to move to Zimbabwe to pursue a diploma. Themba then moved to Zimbabwe and enrolled at Harare Polytechnic for a diploma in Business Studies, graduating with a distinction in Economics and Statistics. After graduating, the star worked as a Banker for a few years and relocated to South Africa, his native country.
Upon arriving in South Africa, the star studied for another Leadership and Life Training diploma with UNISA. After graduating with his second diploma, Themba Ndaba made strides in the entertainment industry and worked hard to be celebrated today.

As a man who grew up in a Christian home Themba Ndaba has good morals. He proved that when he turned down his second nomination for Best Actor (The Queen) from the 2019 DSTV Mzansi Viewers Choice Awards to give other long-standing nominees a chance at the trophy. Themba Ndaba made history that year, and he won himself a legion of fans. His actions got Mzansi talking, and many praised him for not being pompous and choosing to allow other actors to receive the award.
