The actor we all love to hate was raised in Mthatha Eastern Cape, he comes from a stable family, and his parents believed that education was the key to success, so they ensured their son had the best education.
Vuyo did his matric at Butterworth High school in Butterworth town in Eastern Cape and passed matric with good grades.
Vuyo wanted to join the entertainment industry soon after his matric, but his father encouraged him to have a professional certificate before venturing into the entertainment world. He then registered for tertiary education at the University of Johannesburg, studied Public Relations and graduated with an Honours Degree.
After graduating with his Honours Degree in Public Relations, Vuyo abandoned a promising career in Communication to join the entertainment industry.
