He is older, Isifiso actor Melusi Yeni ‘Sibonelo’s age gets Mzansi talking.
South African actor Melusi Yeni is one of the most famous and seasoned actors of all time, and he gets into character for any role he plays. He recently made the headlines when he joined the cast of Durban Gen and left after a short time because his character had a terminal illness. Currently, he has landed a leading role in Mzansi Magic’s new series Isifiso where he plays a man women are fighting over.
Actor Melusi as Sibnelo in Isifiso
Yeni takes on the role of Sibonelo, a wealthy man with a family with two kids and a wife. However, his wife gets pushed down the stairs. He is left widowed and at the mercy of his sister-in-law and his lover, who was also his late wife’s best friend. The two women make it their mission to get Sibonelo to marry them. He is also a man who likes having multiple women pleasing him.
Unknown to Sibonelo, his mother-in-law uses her influence on him and his respect for her to manipulate her son-in-law. Not only is he being lied to, but all the women around him are manipulating to him. Bazo, who is his sister-in-law, killed Sibonelo’s wife after accusing her of stealing the life she had planned with Sibonelo when they were kids. Sibonelo, who thinks that only his mistress is deceiving him, is slowly falling for Bazo’s charms and seduction. When Julia comes to tell him that a healer had told her Bazo killed his wife, chances are he will not believe her.
Melusi Yeni’s age stuns Mzansi.
In the drama series, Sibonelo and Bazo are said to be of the same age as they played together when they were younger. However, in real life, Melusi Yeni, who plays Sibonelo, is older than Nelisa, who plays Bazo, by over a decade. Yeni was born in 1977, and he was 14 years old when Mchunu was born in 1992, and there is no way the two can be termed of the same age group.
Melusi Yeni gets into character when he plays Sibonelo so much that fans of the show may believe that he is younger than his actual age. His youthful features act as an advantage to the actor, and his anti-ageing secrets are sought after by many.
