What we know about the “Presidential Cartel” Hockey Club secret society. Who are the members?
The Presidential Cartel, also known as The Hockey Club is a secret society of high-profiled rich men and women who come together and have these lavish parties where these people spend serious money.
Many names have been linked to the Presidential Cartel, and entertainment Blogger Musa Khawula revealed the names of those he alleges are members. He named a politician named Bafana as one of the members and he was pictured with Lerato Kganyago.
Some of the members of The Presidential Cartel are said to be Lungile Malombo Maseko, Anderson Brown’s owner and the Cartel’s President.
The Babanyanes and Tsholo Matlala with his wife Charmaine are all members of the Cartel.
The group trended a few years ago for giving a tip for over 27 thousand rands to staff members at Ayepyep when they went there for Malombo’s birthday party.
This group is known around Govan Mbeki municipality for helping the elderly and donating to schools.
The group attracted some attention over the years and some not good and involved some celebrities in South Africa.
A bit of History of the Hockey Club, also known as the Presidential Cartel
A few years ago, Lasizwe spoke on this secret society when he was also linked to it. Lasizwe detailed a story about how a lady said she was investigating him as he was suspected to be a part of this secret society. This lady is the same lady who wrote the book about this controversy.
This lady’s name is Jackie Phamotse, an author who went viral after releasing her book Bare: The cradle of the hockey club. Jackie detailed a story in one interview about how five men raped her at one of these parties.
Jackie hadn’t named any names, but in her book, she said one of her rapists was a Deputy Minister.
Lasizwe denied being a part of this club, saying he doesn’t know What, Who or Where it is.
Musa apologized to Jackie for catching a case for writing that book in one of his posts.
Musa named a politician named Bafana as one of the members, and he was pictured with Lerato Kganyago.
Social media has reacted to Musa’s post about Lerato and said he is linking Lerato Kganyago to this unknown Hockey Club.
The Presidential Cartel responded to Musa about his allegations.
“So not even at 1 point did you fear for your life when you posted this? Even for a split second?”
Musa ran a Twitter space on Tuesday to talk about the whole blow-up. Musa says he was not going to stop tweeting out of fear
