Watch: Mzansi Wethu’s first original drama series Isibopho releases trailer.
Mzansi Wethu has released the trailer of its first-ever original drama series since the channel debuted. Through Mzansi Magic’s Instagram page the channel has announced that Isibopho will be released and start streaming soon on the channel. The drama series has an all-star cast, and viewers can not wait for it to begin showing.
The drama series will be about a fight for survival and enemies and families bound by blood. People will be fighting for their lives and sneaking around to get the revenge they seek. The story will follow an innocent woman who will be trying to fight off a powerful opponent that she is called a sheep trying to fight dogs.

The drama series cast has impressed Mzansi as the famous face they have come to love on-screen will be part of the cast. The main cast will be made up of Zethu Dlomo, famously known for many soapies, with her previous role as that Lera on Scandal. From the look of the poster, she will take on the part of the innocent woman who wants to fight off dangerous people.

Slindile Nodangala will be part of the main cast of the series with a role as part of the dangerous family. The actress is mainly known for her current role in Scandal, where she plays Mrs Kubeka. The other famous face in Isibopho is Sicelo Dlamini, who, like the others, is famous for many roles on Soul City and Isithembiso.
Dr Jerry Mofokeng also joins this star-studded cast, and his talent has been applauded by many viewers before. The actor is most famous for his role in Scandal, playing the gangster Neo Mokheti and many of his talk shows and books. The drama series will debut on-screen on the 10th of July 2022 and will be given the 2100 hrs slot.
