Sicelo Buthelezi who playact the role of Teddy on Gomora is an academic intellectual with a degree to show for it. He has been nailing her role to perfection as Teddy, making Mzansi curious about his life offset.
He has been stealing the show Gomora with his phenomenal acting skills. Sicelo is the real definition of the epitome of dynamite that comes in small packages. His body is small yet his acting skills are out of this world. He ventured into the entertainment industry as a singer and later switched to acting becoming famous.
Sicelo Buthelezi’s academic qualifications stun Mzansi
He grow up in a Christian home, with parents who believed that education was the key to success. To be a trophy son to his parents Sicelo made sure he worked hard at school to excel in her studies. The 23 years old actor did his matric at Ingqayizivele High School in Thembisa. He passed his matric with good grades and registered for tertiary education.
Sicelo got a place for tertiary education at The Market Theatre Laboratory. He graduated with a degree in Live Performance in Theatre. After his graduation in 2019, Sicelo won his first acting gig on Gomora as Teddy.
Judging from his acting skills one can not tell that his role on Gomora is his first acting gig. He is killing his role as Teddy the son of an alcoholic mother Zodwa(played by Sanna Mchunu). He is a go-getter young boy who helps his mother to put food on the table.
As a testament to his amazing acting skills, Sicelo won an award for the outstanding newcomer in Royal Soapie Awards. He is proving that he didn’t join the entertainment industry to play. He is here for serious business watch his space.
