Makhadzi took over the Metro FM studios and made them her stage. She took the initiative to teach the presenters and anchor her amazing dance moves. As the African Queen was being interviewed Metro FM played one of her biggest songs Matorokisi. When the song dropped Makhadzi started dancing. All the presenters couldn’t help but join in. To make the dancing more fun Makhadzi created a chain dance. Chain dancing is popular across the globe. Makhadzi however incorporated it from her Venda culture.
Metro FM has a habit of honouring the guests they have. If they have an actor in the studio they will play snippets of their movies or shows. If they have a musical artist then they play their songs. By doing so they make the person interviewed more comfortable. Playing the public figure’s art also creates a neutral flow of the conversation.
Interview on the Touch Down
Makhadzi had an interview on the Metro FM drive time show The Touch Down. During the interview, she uncovered a lot of topics, especially about her music career. Makhadzi shared a bit about her personal life but didn’t divulge too much about it.
