David Genaro ‘Jamie Bartlett’s ex-wife Camilla Waldman breaks silence over the Rhythm City actor’s death
Jamie Bartlett who was famous for playing the role of David Genaro on Rhythm City died on the 24th of May. The news of his death shocked many as he was never sick. The whole nation was saddened by his sudden death as he was an Iconic actor who used to keep everyone glued to their screens due to his phenomenal acting skills.
His funeral took place at St George’s Cathedral in Cape Town on June 2 and it was attended by close family and friends. When he died Jamie was divorced from his ex-wife Camilla Waldman and the two were co-parenting their son Hector.

Camilla has been quiet ever since Jamie died, and maybe she was still in denial about his death. She then took to her Instagram yesterday to break her silence about the death of her ex-husband. In her post she wrote:

V8 Fairlane force, urging me, us, to meet life – curious, fearless, running ahead to meet the ball – going big or not at all.
She added
This is the only family portrait of the three that made our us – recently re-discovered. Thank you to my brother Sacha Waldman for making it. I am thankful now for this gallery wall to place it.
I met you in 1992 Jamie, I knew your picture before your presence.
We were young together, there was a lot we didn’t yet know. And you shook my world. You called me out, you taught me, you gave me Hector, I tattooed your name and wanted to love you forever.
We carry your imprint Jamie – Hector and I – and we remember you.
And we are not alone, you meant a lot, to many.

After writing a teary message to her late ex-husband Mzansi was sending well-wishing messages to her. Others were encouraging her to be strong in this tough time. As Savanna News, we are sorry for her loss.
