The 32-year-old actress grew up a brilliant child who used to do many activities in primary school. She did her matric at Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High School, and she passed with good grades. Sibusisiwe then enrolled on tertiary education as she dreamed of being a graduate.
She studied for a BA degree in Social Sciences at the Univesity of KwaZulu Natal. Sibusisiwe Jili graduated when she was still in her twenties. Securing a job in the Social Sciences field was hard for her, making her join the entertainment industry.
Sibusisiwe Jili won her first acting gig in the now-cancelled show Isibaya as Zanele. She played her role to perfection, and this role opened other acting for her. After Isibaya was cancelled, it was easy for her to bag another acting gig as she was already famous.
She is here for serious business, and she is slowly becoming one of Mzansi’s favourite actresses. Currently, she is playing Georgina on The Queen. Her role proves that she didn’t join the entertainment world to play, watch her space. However, besides being a megastar actress Sibusisiwe Jili is also a musician at the peak of her music career.
