The actress we all love-hate was born in Johannesburg. She is the daughter of Connie Ferguson and Neo Matsunyane; she grew up under the guardians of both her parents, and her parents later divorced. After her parents divorced, Lesedi’s mother Connie found love again in the hands of the late powerhouse actor Shona Ferguson. Shona took Lesedi as his own daughter, and he made she had the best education this world can offer.
Lesedi did her matric at a local Johannesburg, and she passed her matric with flying colours. After graduating from her matric, the actress enrolled on tertiary education. She studied a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Live Performance from the popular AFDA: The School for the Creative Economy.
After her graduation, Lesedi became a full-time entertainer with the help of her parents, who are prominent in the entertainment industry. She currently works at Ferguson Films as a movie producer, and she has produced soapies like The Queen and Throne.
