Another One? Generations The Legacy actress Lucy Diale “Manaka Ranaka’ confuses Mzansi with viral pregnancy scan results.
Generations The Legacy actress Manaka Ranaka who plays the Lucy Diale role on the soapie, confused fans after she posted a picture of pregnancy scan results on social media. Accompanied by the ‘I did it again’ song caption, celebrities, including fellow actors Khabonina Qubeka, Lerato Mvelase and Vuyo Dabula, quickly congratulated the actress on pregnancy. Manaka Ranaka is a mother of three, including a two-year-old son, and the expectation of another baby was received with mixed reactions on social media.
Baby Daddy Drama
Manaka is married to her husband and actor Ntuthuko Mdeletshe, the actress, hogged the headlines when their relationship went public. She was accused of snatching her husband from his ex-wife Bronwyn Zungu. Having previously praised the couple on social media as her favourite, Manaka was reprimanded for ending up married to Ntuthuko and labelled a homewrecker, a tag she dismissed. The couple was blessed with a baby boy in December 2020 and named him Seni, “The baby dragon.”
Lucy Diale on Generations The Legacy
Manaka is one of the longest-serving cast members on Generations The Legacy, where she plays the role of shabeen queen Lucy Diale. Dubbed the “Queen of Gomora”, Lucy gets what she wants no matter the circumstances. Lucy is married to Mrekza (Kope Makgae) and has reached menopause; hence can no longer give birth, and the couple resorted to adopting Mbali. The whole parenting life is a new experience in Lucy’s life, and she fails dismally at it. In Generations, she gave birth to Namhla Diale (Thuli Phongolo), Jack Mabaso’s daughter, who left the country for Europe to study.
It’s April’s fool’s day, after all.
Whether Manaka was teasing Mzansi with April fool’s day antics by posting pregnancy scan results or if she is pregnant in real life is yet to be established. Playing pranks on her fans is not new to Manaka, who has earned the ‘Prank Master’ tag over the years on social media.
