Pineapple beer Ingredients and Recipe
Yields 7 litres
Ingredients:
2 average sized Pineapples
½ cup raisins
5 cups sugar equivalent to 640 grams
2 teaspoons dry yeast
7 liters warm water

Remove the top pineapple stalk.
Thoroughly wash unskinned pineapple well to remove all sand traces and chop up with skin and all.
Put all ingredients into a large container with a lid and stir to mix well. Cover and leave where it can be undisturbed.
Expect fermentation after adding two teaspoons of dry yeast. Leave it undisturbed and only open twice a day when stirring. Leave it for 72 hours and constantly check the container. Fermentation gathers pressure, avoid explosion by allowing air in and out the container. After 72 hours your pineapple beer will be ready for consumption.
Sieve with a clean cloth or a standard siever into another clean container.
Serve chilled and is excellent over crushed ice
