Muvhango has been on TV screens for over two decades but is still one of the most-watched TV soapies in South Africa. Many actors have debuted their careers on the SABC 2 drama series, and Kagiso is one of them. Let’s get to know Kagiso Makulane ‘Mushe from Muvhango and his business empire.
Kagiso Makulane is known as Mushe the waiter on Muvhango. Mushe is a young and struggling waiter who would do anything to earn money, but his good heart gets in the way. He was recently hired to threaten Belinda, Mulalo’s girlfriend, by his imprisoned wife, Tebogo. After Mushe holds a gun to the woman and delivers the message, he is hit by a guilty conscience, and he tells Elelwani that he will never do it again.
Apart from his role in Muvhango, Kagiso Makulane has managed to land roles in a couple of productions. Recently he took to Instagram to share with his fans the news that he had gotten a role playing a private investigator called Mulanga in SABC3’s The Estate. Last year, fans saw him sharing his talent with the world on Moja love in Ufelani as Roger’s friend. The young actor was also part of the SABC comedy show Rented family playing a minor role.

The actor does not share a lot of information about his childhood. His birthday is celebrated on the 8th of July every year, but his age is still a mystery. The actor attended Helmeg Academy High School until he matriculated. For his tertiary education, he was enrolled at the University of Johannesburg. The actor is multi-lingual as he can speak several languages like Sotho, Pedi, Tsonga, Venda and English.
The actor is off the market to his fans, who may have been wondering. He is married to a woman called Sherlot Makulane. The two lovebirds’ Facebook accounts are well decorated with pictures of them. They do not shy away from showing the world that they are together. The actor is blessed with a son who is three years old and called Owen.
