Best known for his on-screen character Leeto Maputla, Eric Macheru is a celebrated South African actor who plays a lead role in SABC1’s drama series Skeem Saam.

A few months down the line, he was cast in Zaziwa season 4 before bagging a lead role on Skeem Saam as Leeto Maputla. In the hit drama series, he was cast as Meikie Maputla and John Maputla’s older son.
In the wake of his newfound fame, he has been making strides in setting up his business empire, and he has been doing well. However, of late, his age has seen him trending. He is older than we thought. Honestly, who thought Leeto could 35-year-old? The celebrated actor was born on 25 February 1986 in Polokwane, Limpopo, South Africa. He was born and bred in the township of Seshego.
