North Korea Supreme leader Kim Jong-un has made his first public appearance in three weeks after being reported to be dead.
The dictator made appearance at a fertiliser factory in Suncheon, near the capital Pyongyang where he was officially opening the factory according to The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
His sister Kim Yo Jong is reported to have attended the ceremony among other leaders. South Korea which constantly tracks Kim and other North Korea leaders downplayed the reports that he was dead or in a vegetative state.
Cheong Seong-Chang, an analyst at South Korea’s Sejong Institute explained that Kim might have been suffering from an ailment that affects his ability to stand for a while after footage showed Kim struggling to keep standing up.
