Netflix has finally announced the release date for the long-awaited sequel of Happiness is a four-letter word. Khanyi Mbau stars in the new Netflix’s Happiness ever after.
About the movie Happiness Ever After
The movie is a sequel to the 2016 movie Happiness is a four-letter word which is a movie that follows the life of three friends on their path to find Happiness. One of them is a housewife, the other a lawyer and the other a gallery owner. Happiness ever after follows the women Zaza, Princess and Zim living through the new chapters in their life while dealing with grief, new love and loss.
Happiness Ever After cast
Khanyi Mbau stars in this Netflix’s Happiness ever after as Zaza. Renate Stuurman will play Princess, the gallery owner. Nambitha Ben-Mazwi is cast as Zim. Mmabatho Montsho, who played Nandi in Happiness, is a four-letter word that will not be cast in Happiness Ever After. Richard Lukunku is also cast playing his original role, Leo.
Khanyi Mbau’s acting career
The actress made her acting debut in Muvhango as Doobsie when she replaced Lindiwe Chibi. Although she was fired a year later, she landed a lot of Tv roles after that. She landed a role as Mbali in SABC 1’s hit series Mzansi. She was cast in After 9, Ashes to Ashes, Umlilo, uzalo, Abomama, etc. The actress hosted her talk show called Katch it with Khanyi. She was a contestant in Strictly come dancing too. Besides Happiness is a four-letter word, she also had other films she worked on, like Frank and Fearless alongside Leon Schuster. She also is cast in The Red Room, a thriller that was released in 2018.

Netflix took to Instagram to announce the release date of the movie as 10 November. An excited Nambitha Ben-Mazwi posted on her Instagram that she is excited as this is her fifth Netflix feature. Renate Stuurman took to Instagram to motivate her fans that African child dreams are valid as she realises her own because of the movie. Fans are excited and can’t wait for the release of the film after watching the trailer.
