We can all agree that she is that A-list we hate to love. In recent years Beyonce has carved herself as one of the most celebrated celebrities not only in Hollywood but the world at large. In the wake of her fame for years, it has always been everyone’s dream to work with her.
However, of late the South African entertainment industry has become one of the art powerhouses and celebrated artists have been privileged to work with international celebrities.
Award-winning musicians such as Nasty C have made all sorts of headlines in Hollywood after featuring in on international acts. Yes, the same rod of luck has not spared some female celebrities who have managed to feature in Beyonce’s projects.
Busiswa
Despite being a controversial singer, songwriter and poet the award-winning singer made all sorts of headlines when she featured in Beyonce’s “Lion is King” project. The South African musician was thrust into the limelight came when she featured in DJ Zinhle’s hit ‘My name Is’.
We can all agree that it’s hard to believe that Busiswa was discovered by Kalawa Jazmee’s CEO Osikdo. Busiswa is also on My Power hit song. She also indicated how generous the Hollywood star was after booking her a first-class flight to Los Angeles in the US.

Mmuso Maxwell
However, Mmuso Maxwell’s Toni Africa coat was spotted with some of the models who featured in Beyonce’s film trailer. The coat is from the collective’s SS20 collection. Evidently, Beyonce is a huge fan of the collective as she was seen wearing a Mmuso Maxwell SS16 suit at the Global Citizen Festival in 2018.

The bubbly musician has always managed to stay relevant despite her controversial music genre called ‘Future ghetto punk’.
However, it also happens that she worked alongside Beyonce at the same time with Busiswa and Nandi. Moonchild featured in Beyonce’s ‘Lion is King’ project.

However, the SAFTA award-winning actor Warren Masemola was spotted in the trailer. Masemola is one of the most talented artists we have in our country. He is popularly known for his roles in Ses’Top La, Tjovitjo, and Five Fingers for Marseilles.

Veteran actress Connie Chuime is best known for her roles on local TV soapies like Gomora, Rhythm City, and Zone 6.
In 2018, she starred in Marvel’s highly acclaimed superhero movie ‘Black Panther’. However during her stay she also managed to feature in some the works of Beyonce.
Nandi Mandida
Well, it seems as if Beyonce wanted the unmatched talent of South Africans. In her Lion King, she featured several of Mzansi’s finest. Yes! she also included Nandi Mandida in her project “Back is King”.
However, the celebrated singer, actress and TV personality indicated that Beyonce is sweet, humble and down to earth. Nandi was born and bred in Maphumulo, Kwazulu-Natal South Africa. She rose to stardom after she was featured in one of DJ Franky hits as a vocalist.
