After Percy Tau moved to England to continue his career a lot of soccer fans in Mzansi were proud of him and were excited that he was raising the flag high. Now that a video of him signing for Al Ahly is making rounds on social media, Mzansi is not happy with this.Many think Percy has quit English football too soon and should have fought for his place before moving back to Africa.
Although he is going to reunite with the former Sundowns Coach Pitso Mosimane, it seems likely Percy rushed this decision. Percy Tau has not been confirmed as a new Al Ahly player but several sources on the internet claim the deal is done and what is left is the official announcement.
Other football fanatics feel Percy Tau was not given a chance to prove himself at Brighton and Hove. They say his decision to come back to Africa is good because he gets to play week in week out unlike in England. No doubt the English Premeir League is tough. We have seen many starts from all over the world failing to make a statement in the league.
