Zandile from Durban Gen’s character leaves women questioning their friendships
There is nothing more heart wrenching than a friend who sneaks into your husband’s pants and gloats about it. Zandile from Durban Gen is one character who has left many ladies questioning if their friends are genuine. Behind most divorces lies a ‘bestie’ who simply envies one’s life. As the actress speaks on her unlikable character, ladies, watch out for the warning signs.
“Some friends just want your life,” Sthandwa speaks to a local magazine. “Dr Zandile is one hell of a woman, she is very sneaky. This role is going to be an eye opener for friends not to open up about their private lives as it can be used against them when someone wants something,” she continues.
Zandile from Durban Gen isn’t Sthandwa’s first villainous role

Masses are still in love with Sthandwa despite the actress playing a number of villainous characters. “I remember meeting a girl and her mother in a retail store,” the actress says. “When the girl sees me, she runs around the store. She screams although it seems like she doesn’t want to scream. It is all so confusing until her mother explains that the girl loves her but is afraid of the character she plays in Ifalakhe, Queen Nomvula. I explain that I am Sthandwa and she can relax.” It seems the actress still has her fans wrapped around her little finger.

With such a sassy attitude onscreen most would be shocked to find out that Sthandwa grew up shy. “Growing up, I was really shy but I studied and flourished.” Thanks to all those drama classes. “Here I am now, the rest is history,” the actress adds. Clearly TV time is paying off for the actress as she recently joins the ‘Girls with Mercs gang’. Sthandwa takes to Instagram to flaunt her new ride and fans couldn’t be prouder.
