Tawanda’s love for Noku is growing by the day. He is yearning for his first date, but he is not sure about what to say or what to do when he meets her. He is losing focus on football and shifting all the energy to Noku. He thinks he can still get a chance to date Noku even though he is less privileged. His idea is to see Noku at the borehole, but things may not go according to plan. Noku doesn’t like fetching water from the borehole and she might not come the next day.
Synopsis: Tawanda is forced to choose between going to the football game or following Nokuthula to the library.
Getting dressed to see a girl for the first time is no joke in the hood, while first impression lasts its hard to dress for the occasion from 1 wardrobe hence borrowing clothes from friends sometimes with desperation from people you don’t necessarily talk to. Tawanda defied all odds and managed to pull out a smart casual outfit. Expecting to see Noku who was nowhere to be found at the borehole, Tawanda decided to follow her to the library which was a long distance considering that he turned to a “John Walker”( he walked about 6kms on foot ) sacrificing an important soccer match.
When Tawanda reached the library, the game had already started and the library was closed, miraculously Noku was still around waiting to be picked up by her father. Nature happened and Tawanda ended up having Noku’s phone number in his palm (Best moment for every young man trying to find love)
