Audio: Mother gets threatened by her teenage daughter after finding family planning pills in daughter’s bag
An audio of a teenage daughter speaking to her aunt after caught having family planning pills is making rounds on social media. What is more shocking is that the daughter is not even afraid of her mother but instead threatens to report her mother to the police if she attempts to discipline her.
Sources say the girl is thirteen years old but from the audio she sounds a bit older than that. Speaking in Shona the girl sends a voice note to her aunt saying,
“You know what auntie the Law is protecting us girls so if she wants to beat me I will get her arrested. I don’t want to talk to her because I have a lot to say but I’m just respecting her. Mother should leave me alone. It’s over a year now and I have been using these contraceptive pills. What is the problem if I am taking the pills? To make matters worse what was she looking for in my bag?”

“What she does is really bad. She has that whack behavior and I hate it. So please auntie Mom should stop with her nonsense. I don’t know where you got my number but if she sent you then I don’t want to hear about virginity and all. I am not pregnant and I am staying with her so she should confront me herself. If she cannot feed me anymore and does not want me then she should also tell me.”
“What is wrong with the fact that I am sleeping with my boyfriend? I am only taking these pills so that I don’t get pregnant. Please tell mom to know her place and not let her head grow too big. She had sex and now I am having sex.”
The child is surely disrespectful. Elders know that the aunt talks to the girls but this one seems way beyond redemption. If she is truly 13 then her case needs assistance.
