Recently Pearl was caught in between a social media backlash which saw her and Mac G being grilled by Mzansi. Tweeps vowed to bring down the career of Pearl and her being more unpopular made matters worse.
Mzansi didn’t hold back in trolling the controversial actress. Many weighed in with defamatory comments and one user even put into motion a petition to bring Pearl career down.
Several celebrities show up to grill Pearl with Thandiswa Mazwai commenting, “Dear straight person. Don’t talk about us (queer people) on public platforms without us being present to speak for ourselves. There is a lot you don’t know or understand so it’s best to seek education rather than talk from ignorance. #TransLivesMatter.”
Twitter was set ablaze and this was one of the tweets that posed a threat to her career.
