However, Promise sealed Lazarous’ career path when he went out of his way to get his first soccer boots.
Education
Lazarous received both conventional and soccer education from a young age. He studied at Mamamoti Basic School while training with Mindolo Youngsters FC in 2004. He got very little game time due to the stiff competition in the club.
In 2017, he finally got a chance to shine with the new coach Zlatko Kromptic from Serbia. Lazarous proved to be a phenomenal player. Recognizing his talent, Kazier Chiefs scouted Lazarous and signed a contract with him starting July 2019. The club paid R3 million for a three-year contract. However, his start at the chiefs did not go so well. He said that his less than stellar performance is due to adjustments lag time.
