Surely numbers don’t lie but the axing of Skeem Saam might not even materialise given the fact that Skeem Saam has been around for long. Despite the slump in viewership, it’s highly unlikely that Skeem Saam will be given the axe.
Given its long-run on SABC obviously, the production teams know the tricks of the trade so as bounce back. Skeem Saam has been around for 9 years and actually hoping for a decade on Mzansi’s screen.
A simple turnaround in the storylines can easily change the fate of a show and pull in record-breaking viewers. The current storyline involving Pretty and Nimza is definitely the one to make the bank.
We can’t wait for more interesting storylines on the show.
