Glen Gabela Returns To Uzalo As Pastor Mdletshe
Glen Gabela, will be returning to Uzalo’s storyline where he will reprise his role as Pastor Mdletshe.
Uzalo took to Instagram on Wednesday 21 October 2020 to announce that the character of Pastor Mdletshe will be returning to screens in the near future.
The post showed videos of actor, Glen Gabela, on the Uzalo set in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, where he reunited with castmates and read over his lines before filming his scenes. In the video, fans can hear him being welcomed back to the show and being asked about how he feels about being back on set.
In response, Glen says, “I am excited and I am on top of the world. It is a pleasure to be back. The welcome I received from the cast and crew was phenomenal.”
Pastor Mdletshe is expected to be returning to the church amidst Mbatha’s drama, which threatens his position as head minister of the church.

Glen is best known for appearing on Doubt as Judge Jacob Mweli and on Erfsondes as Peter. He first burst onto the acting scene as Shaka in the 1986 award-winning television mini-series Shaka.
He has acted in numerous feature films including Okavango (1989), Warriors from Hell (1990), The Ghost and the Darkness (1996), Soldiers of the Rock (2003), and Red Dust (2004).
He has also acted in the made-for-TV movies Guns of Honour (1994), Score (2006), and the Heartlines film The Good Fight (2006).
Glen has also appeared in television series such as Generations, Isidingo, Backstage, Justice For All, and Molo Fish.
He was the lead actor in the theatre production Somdaka.
Glen played Pastor Solomon, a council ward member who has to vote on whether the public pool will be rezoned to create the Hopeville Trust Discount Drive-Thru Liquor Mart, in the SABC2 mini-series Hopeville.
