The duo with a love and hate brotherhood have kept our suspense levels skyrocketing. One would call it a blood clash, Scandal Simo vs Romeo how will it end?. Romeo a character played by Hungani Ndlovu on Scandal had cut all ties with his father. This was after he learned that his father had raped his mother for him to be conceived. Later on he received the news that his father had passed away. This came with a new revelation, he found out that he had a half brother his father’s son Simo Shabangu, a character played by Sandile Mahlangu. Simo recently joined the cast of Scandal.
Romeo whose real name is Hungani Ndlovu, having been the only child was happy with this new revelation. The new-found brotherhood was stable at first before the blood clash. On the other hand, Simo (Sandile Mahlangu) only saw Romeo as his financial saviour to help him clear his debts. Always having a sixth sense Romeo picked it up that something was off with Simo. After a failed attempt to scam Romeo, Simo went on to charm Romeo’s single mother Grace Medupe (Bathabile Mashingo) and she fell for it.
The forbidden love between Grace and Simo went on regardless of Romeo’s endless attempts to end the relationship, they even said their l do’s. Now Romeo is livid and emotionally torn because he knows that Simo’s marriage to his mom comes with a personal agenda that involves money. Question is what will happen next? Simo vs Romeo how will it end, will Romeo win this as he always does if he faces any threat or will Simo get away with what he plans to get from his current wife Grace( Bathabile Mashingo) who is also his half brother’s mother? Or the brothers will finally reach common ground and call it a truce?
