Former Muvhango actress Millicent Makhado hit by thieves
Former Muvhango actress Millicent Makhado lost valuables after thieves broke into her car last month.
The former Scandal and Muvhango actress parked her car at her mother’s house in mum’s house in Atteridgeville, Tshwane when daring thieves broke into the car and made out with her ID, driver’s licence, laptop and even her daughter’s backpack.
Millicent had visited her mother who was ill.
“I had to take my child to school in Johannesburg the next morning and we were supposed to leave at 5.30am. I woke up, had a bath and put my belongings in the car before going back inside to prepare my child for the day.”

Makhado said the theft happened in a very short space of time as she did not take long in the house and she lost her work that was stored in her laptop.
“I’m an artist and writer, and I do a lot of work on the side. My work was on the hard drive and am scared some of it won’t be recovered. I have to now run around offices applying for my lost documents. It’s a lot of work, considering were still under lockdown.”
Millicent is demanding the return of her belongings from the thugs that stole them and threatened them with unspecified action.
Those thugs should bring my things back. I’ll take action to make sure I get what’s mine. I worked hard for those things and someone took them in less than an hour.
Gauteng police spokesman Captain Kay Makhubele confirmed that the actress was robbed of her belongings but no arrests have been made so far with the case under investigation.
